I am so grateful for this Fellowship experience. The monthly meetings helped broaden my knowledge of how policy changes move through state government and I have a deeper understanding of the budget process. I have also had the opportunity to meet and build relationships with individuals I may not have been able to get face to face with otherwise. Weekly discussion posts enhanced the experience by engaging us to think and discuss trends and issues related to the families and organizations supported by OCDEL initiatives. I would recommend this experience to anyone who wants to make a difference.
