  • Attended an Early Learning Council and State Interagency Coordinating Council Joint Meeting, where OCDEL shared updates and received feedback from a group of key stakeholders.
  • Attended an Infant/Toddler Policy Meeting and assisted in the development of an infant/toddler vision statement for OCDEL. 
  • Conducted interviews with providers about the financial and administrative burden to achieving high quality care.

Through the OCDEL Policy Fellowship I hope to build on my knowledge about state-level systems that support quality early childhood education.  I hope to meet other professionals who serve young children within OCDEL and across the state, to learn from their work and experiences.
